While most of the nearly 50 members of the Park Cities Amateur Radio Club are located in and around DFW, we actually have a worldwide footprint. This map illustrates two points. First, you can meaningfully participate in PCARC from anywhere in the world, in part, thanks to our membership generally embracing all modern technology has to offer. For example, we use Discord as a means for staying in touch when not doing so via radio. Second, note that some members have no callsign and instead are dubbed “Uncooked Hams” – which means they are not yet licensed amateur radio operators but either intend to become licensed or otherwise see value in club participation. What is NOT shown are our members in Singapore! PCARC offers a multifaceted experience…with STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math) being a central point of interest. Our membership is diverse in every sense of the word and it happens naturally due to the universal draw of sharing experiences with others who have a passion for STEAM (and usually radio, too).
